I create end-user product documentation strategies for companies, and help fill-in gaps in the branding of user experiences. I work closely with product owners and developers to ensure customer experience is uniform throughout the product lifecycle.
Hardware installation guides should be accessible in multiple formats so that users can access it whenever and however they need to. While the sample guide is a PDF file, it could easily be converted into HTML or ePub format as needed using single-sourcing tools.
If a product is well designed, the software help files are rarely used - but when it is needed, it must be easy to search and irrelevant information must be easy to ignore so the user can resume their original task quickly.
